USA 1995 T-100 SR5 Owner

Hello fellow Toy owners,

I have a special inquiry. I have not found a way to enable my slack adjusters on my 1995 T-100 SR5 4x4 to work. My drum brake shoes have never made contact with the drums since I have owned the vehicle. You might ask; Why did you not take the vehicle in for a check out? Well, I did not discover this problem until the warranty was invalid. I have tried to resolve this with the dealership and HQ but to no success. The only way I could make the brakes work is to manually adjust them. This is a hit and miss technique because if you tighten too much you will create too much heat and burn them up. My only other solution is to find an aftermarket drum-to-disc conversion kit for my rear end. I have hunted around on the internet with no success. I do not think there is such an animal. So, my other option is to find a rear end with disc brakes and swap it out. I would hate to go through the trouble, but I don't think I have any other choice. Does anybody have any suggestions or helpful tips?
