My names Alex. I'm 16 and the proud owner of a 2005 Tacoma PreRunner V6 with the TRD Offroad package. I live in Jacksonville Florida.

Story of how I got the Tacoma.

In November of 2007 I got my first car. A 2007 Nissan SE-R. I was debating between that and a 2007 Tacoma PreRunner TRD Offroad Double cab. In the end I bought the SE-R to save some gas. Immediately after getting the SE-R I regretted it. It drove so well, but there was a lot of quality problems, and Nissan's customer service is a complete joke. I soon had the car in the dealer for scratch, they buffed the black paint (the entire vehicle, for a scratch on the trunk lid, I know, WTF). So on 12/27/07 I sold it (for what I paid for it) and did what I should have done in the first place, got the Tacoma.

Long story short: Bought a new Nissan, it was poorly built and dealer ruined its paint. I decided to be smart and sold it for a Tacoma.

The Tacoma is a 2005 PreRunner V6 (auto) with the TRD Offroad package. Needless to say, it is my dream truck. I also got it pretty cheap with only 28K miles and in mint condition. I had been lurking on the TTORA forum for quite some time and decided to join here to get more info on the Tacoma.

My entire family drives Toyota's. My Mom has a 2003 Sequoia, My Dad as a 2007 Camry SE, My Grandmother has an 2006 Solora, and now I have the Tacoma.

I do plan on modding the truck a little. Probably gonna get a leveling kit or lift it an inch or so. I physically use the truck as a DD and for going to the beach, moving MTB bikes, and a light offroad.
