New Toyota wheeler from Alberta with questions?

Hi All,

I just purchased a project truck that is a bit of a mess. It is a 1983 but the motor is a 20r out of a celica pre 1981. The carb is incomplete and I am having trouble find parts in the wrecking yards for the carb. Has anyone ever changed the complete intake with carb off a 22r? I found a complete system on a 1985, was planning to strip the complete intake along with all the linkage and pollution / vaccum pieces. I am not sure if I can do a change like this to a 20r and if the intakes are a match as far as the engine block bolt holes.
Looking for some help before I strip the system off and pay a wrecker for something that won't work.
My other option is to try get a Weber carburator from the US. Is that hard to do since there are no dealers Alberta, Canada that I can find?
