1997 Camry is leaking oil and check engine light is on

My 1997 Toyota Camry has had two new engines from the date of purchase (eventually reimbursed by settlement). Since then I have followed all maintenance instructions including having the oil checked every 500 miles, timing belt replacement, shock & strut replacement, just to name a few. I am now experiencing an oil leak and a check engine light. Rather than take it to the shop who has worked on my car since the 1st engine failure, and whom I've paid for every service work performed, I want to know if I take my car to a Toyota dealership, will it be covered under the sludge settlement extended coverage? Please advise.

I don't really know if Toyota would cover a 3rd engine if they had already been replaced, try searching, there is a ton of information about this and you may stumble across the answer. Good Luck!

locating the source of the leak is a great help as well
as is providing milage/engine type...is it a V6? I4?
rear main oil seals, valve cover gaskets and oil pan gaskets typically cause leaks on the camry...none of these would be covered as they are regualr maintence...esp the oil pan gasket, which is a common leakage source and would leave small oil spots/pools under the car, as would rear mains...the valve cover gaskets leave trails of dirt/oil on the side of the block under the valve covers...all are fixable, and with the exception of rear mains, easy and cheap.
