As an intro to me-- I'm 70 and a retired geologist and live on the Texas coast. My Toyota is a 1988 SR5 4WD pickup that has been reciently restored. At 225K miles it has a new factory long block, all necessary body work and a great new yellow paint job with a fade to blue skirt, bed liner and has my 'rocket launcher' fishing rod rack on the front bumper. It's ready for the beach. I'll post some pictures as soon as If figure out how.
I do have a question for the form: I would like to install a cruise control for longer trips on the highway. Was cruise control offered as original equipment on this model? Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to go about installing OEM or after market Cruise controls?

Yes, cruise control was an option on those trucks, but I am not sure how to integrate it.
