Hello, I have been visiting this forum for quite some time reading many of the posts. Thanks to everyone for their opinions and helpful posts!
About my ride:
I have a 2005 Tacoma, double cab, TRD off road package, 4x4, silver with a 6 speed tranny.
Current mods:
Toyota bug shield, window visors, Lund tri-fold tanneu cover and as of yesterday a ToyTec 3" coil spring (885) lift with AAL in the rear and a front diff drop kit.
Future mods:
Tuesday: my Dick Cepek DC-1 (polished) 17x9 wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler MT's 285/70/17 will be delivered to my door.
Wednesday: My Gibson single side swept exhaust system will arrive to make up for the horespower and torque lost due to the lift and tires.
Yesterday I took pictures of the install of my lift and hopefully will post all of them once I get my truck complete. The lift went very smooth and took approximately 6 hours to install. You could do it quicker but we took our time and took time to finish each beer. The instructions as far as I can tell left out one thing you should know. More on that to come later....A big thanks to my friends James and Kevin for all the help yesterday with the lift!
