Hello everyone I've been surfing around here for a while and decided to join now that I got my 08 Tacoma d/c long bed(indigo ink),and already found some interesting info.I plan on using it to tow a camper & 2 atvs(not at the same time) and found out that the tailgate isn't really that strong if I wanted to drive the atv up into the bed. It sounds like a tailgater is in my future.Gotta go back to work.

I own a '95, '97 and just bought a '06 tacoma, the tailgates definately will fail after a certain amount of use and abuse. I think the '06 is probably going to be the worst, which is too bad... they are great trucks!
