Names Tim, Live in Rio Rico Az. Have a 99 Camry and an 07 Corolla and quite a few old air cooled VW's.
Was a mechanic a couple of decades ago and have done all my maintenance and engine rebuilds since. Usually am able to figure out most problems that arise but am putting the front end of my Camry back together after a minor fender bender and came across a couple questions I couldnt figure out. Did a search , came up empty so I posted a response in a thread with a topic very close to the question I have. Linkt to post: Front Bumper Removal
Anyways it was nice to find a Toyota forum.

Welcome!....My first car was 69 VW! loved that car...indestructable!

The simplicity is what attracted me to the Toyotas as well as the VW's. Their both just everyday trasnportation to me. The 69 was a good choice as a daily driver eyeball.
