Mudder Says Hello
Been thinking about getting invloved in this for quite awhile.
Have owned my 89 toyota 2.4 liter 4wd for 12 or so years, bought it from a friend with 40,000 miles on it. It now has 150,000. Just compeleting some work on it and figure there will be more. Living in the Chicago area does allow for some excellerated aging of vehicles.
the truck is at the prime of life, doesn't need washing or waxing (she doesn't care how she looks just that she's running ), she's completly functional (except for the current repairs), she enjoys trips to find new fishing locations, hauling the canoe on her homemade canoe rack (from saw horses) and goods for the occasional home improvement more like maintenance project. She's easy to work on if your patient and is looking forward to pulling a little jon boat this spring.
Upgrade? I don't think so.
