Noob Intro

Hello everyone,

I just purchased my first Toyota Truck, and hope that it's as great as every Toyota owner I know says it is. I'm a rotorhead (Mazda RX-7 enthusiast), but I needed a bullet-proof truck to take care of this rugged life we all live in, so I got what everyone told me is the best.

I don't know much about piston engines, trucks, 4X4's, or even how to work on them. I hope everyone I encounter here will not flame me too bad due to stupid and ignorant questions I will post later on as I learn more about my truck.

Thanks for letting me in the community.

Sorry, no pics right now, I need to borrow my g/f's digital camera because I only have old school 35mm film. haha. For learning about rotarys, www.aaroncake.net , under the car page on that site...it has a "how to buy an rx7" if you want to check it out.

feel free to ask. thats what we are here for. I know a little bit but my bf is a mechanic and answer almost any question that he's ever been asked.

MK3 Supra? I used to look for the 3rd gen supra till I found my FC. haha. The supra is too luxurious for me though. I also ended up falling in love with the Rotary engine.

haha yeah they seem a lot more luxurious than FC's. Bigger too. Thats why they're not good for drifting lol
