Hello-I have a 1997 corolla with 62,000 miles on it. It needs a new 02 sensor but I can't find out which kind or where it's located in the engine. Does anyone know? And is it easy to install? I have 2 quasi-mechanics in the family. Thanks!

If you plan on doing minor-moderate repairs on your car, you might look into getting a manual-- they show diagrams and steps of the process.

Thank you all. I ended up going to AutoZone who gave me straight info and were able to show me on their computer that I needed the O2 sensor in "band 2". I spoke with a variety of people who should have been able to explain it to me who were just so bizarre. Thanks again for your nice welcome!
