Hey whats up everyone, just got a 1980 Toyota Corolla SR5 the other day from my dad. He had it sittin in his yard and i happened to stumble on it when i was down there the last time and thought it was cool as hell. I am a person who can look thru the horrible paint job and moss( yes moss..its been sittin for about 10 years
) but i told him i had to have it. So I got it up to my place in MN and will be workin on it and gettin it goin and looking nice. Really i was surprised theres not more rust on it. Mostly just the rear quarters, and they arent that bad. Have a new Carter fuel pump for it, and im gettin new brake and clutch master cylinders for it. Thats all it needs. The motor runs good still. Gotta do some cleanin and ill have to replace the plugs and stuff. But really it should be really easy to get er goin. I cant wait to drive this thing. I love it cuz its the regular "hatch" back, not the lift back. If anyone knows where i can get a dront drivers side blinker cover, let me know. I need one and cant seem to locate. Thats it for now. Will be posting more pics and more threads SOON!!!!
