Another newbie for ya,
me. A little about me: As my username implies, I'm an auto enthusiast with absolutely no money. I don't even have the money to buy a K&N air filter. I do have a decent job as a Pharmacy Assistant, but hours are tight thanks to overstaffing. I don't really have any hobbies or interests outside of cars other than a good game of euchre.
Anyways, enough about money. More importantly, I *do* have enough money to make payments on a 2007 Corolla. My wife and I both love it, and love the great MPGs we get. However, I'm trying to squeeze all the mileage I can out of it while still maintaining all the comforts of the C package (i.e. no A/C delete, and the wife insisted we get an automatic), and adding a touch of personality to the car.
I actually have a second project car I have no money for, a 1988 Chevy Beretta. It's going to be more of a "from the ground up" kind of project, since the brakes and engine are shot, and stock suspension is never good enough for more than daily driving (too much weight transfer to take to the strip, and too soft for autocross).
