dash hood replacement
I've recently bought a 93 pickup; 2wd, 4 cyl., 5 spd. I replaced the passenger mirror, the blower resistor, and today got the windshield replaced. The only other obvious repair lacking is the broken plastic dash piece called the hood by my local Toyota dealer; ie., the plastic bezel around the instrument cluster. I've purchased a new one. I pulled the old one off and found the screws which secure it are accessed from behind! I'm assuming the piece to which the hood is secured must be removed also, the hood then secured to it, then both pieces replaced together. Can anyone tell me how to remove the piece underneath to which the hood is secured?
