Added another toy to the stable and here I am..,

Hey guys. Name is Chad. I'm a 26 year old Network Admin.

Bought a '93 Corolla for $300 in the city and it's frickin AWESOME. 38mpg steady. Quiet, clean... has a newer engine with a fresh timing belt, suspension, brakes. I am here to find a few answers, such as: Why the speedo doesn't work and then will fly up to 68mph and stick there? What I'll need to do to get the A/C working(the compressor is physically broken)? And what people may be doing to quiet down the cars on the highway(lots of road noise). I've always owned German cars, so this is new to me. It's a nice humble little car.

Since this picture, I painted the wheels metallic silver with 3 coats of clear... looks better, ha.

I enjoy wrenching on my cars... recently replaced the clutch on my Audi S4 and the spark plugs on the 911... both were not the most fun but still nice to do your own work(plus saved $3000 or so)

I bought it just to drive to work and back as I am sick of putting commuter miles on my other cars.

My other toys are:

2001 Audi S4

2002 Porsche 911 C2

2002 Honda RC-51

1989 Honda NSR250R

Thanks man.

The 911 and MAYBE the S4 may go up for sale sometime this year. Looking for an 02+ 911 4S and possibly a BMW 335iX(looking to get one that has a few thousand miles on it so I can save on the Off-The-Lot depreciation)

I'll try posting it up for sale on here when the time comes. Otherwise look for it/them on www.6speedonline.com. We're friendly over there and you can find good deals on super/hypercars in classifieds.

Now, onward to the Corolla forum for some answers.

Thanks again.
