Question 2008 Corolla basic - headlight turnoff?
I just bought a 2008 Corolla basic (5-speed manual) and love it except for the fact that headlights don't go off when you remove ignition key. Can a dealer add this option?

usually if you open the drivers door they go off (my camry does that) or if you lock from the key fob they go off (avalon does that) otherwise just make sure that the lights are in auto and after a few min they go off by them selfs

Thanks for your response. There doesn't seem to be an "auto" option for the headlight turnoff (on the stem that turns on the headlights) so I'm probably out of luck. I'll call dealer tomorrow.
