I've always loved Toyota's, but for the past decade or so I've been dedicating my time to VW's. I learned to drive on a big brown turd (1985 Toyota Minivan, light brown/gold, manual transmission, 2wd 4cyl). My parents got a 1991 Celica GT which I drove only on special occasions as a teenager. That's where my love for Toyota's came from.
Currently I have a 1983 GTi that's modified and a bone stock 2005 limited 4wd V8 4Runner. We bought it new so we could have a good reliable useful vehicle and it's done great so far. I love my VW's too but damn... far from reliable.
