Beginning the modification process. Need Advice

Hey guys. i'm a new 08 Matrix owner. I got the most basic edition so no sun roof, no security system, no rims only hubcaps.

I just bought rims. will post pics soon.

Does anybody know about getting black Toyota Emblems? I'm going to take off all the other emblems like the word "Toyota" and "Matrix" but can i take off the Toyota emblem and paint it and replace it with it being ok?? let me know if anybody has any experience with this.

All emblems can be removed, painted and replaced. Some emblems have pins on thier backside and if removed will leave holes. Check out the Matrix section of this forum for lots of helpfull info.

do you know how to remove the emblems with pins? are the pins removable and replaceable? are the emblems with pins attached with adheisive or the pins? thanks a lot for the help man.

MY 2003 TOYOTA SURF( A.T. A34f) NEEDS 5 MINUTES TO SHIFT INTO REVERSE WHEN THE ENGINE IS OFF FOR MORE THAN 45 MINUTES. THE FIRST GEAR DOES NOT ENGAGE AT TRAFIC LIGHT BEFORE A KM. I HAD THE VAIVE BODY CHECKED TWICE AND REVERSE DISCS CHANGED. WHEN THE ENGINE IS WARM EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. ANYBODY CAN HELP PLEASE ???

You just pry them off with something that will not damage your paint.(something plastic, rubber, wood, etc).The pinned emblems are one piece molded. I suppose you could cut off the pins and put them back in the holes, but the stuffed holes will still be very noticable.
Use emblem adhesive remover for the ones that are glued on. Your questions woud be better answered in the Matrix forum.
