I've been lurking and reading for a while and decided to register.
I just purchased a Magnetic Gray Metallic 08 XD and I'm livin' every minute of it.
If the mileage were better, I'd have purchased the XB, but since it's a work car and I needed the mileage, the XD did the trick. Again since it's for work, I can't really trick it out like I would like, but I'll do a few things over the long haul to personalize it.
I'm not new to Toyotas having owned:
90 Geo Prizm (yeah! it was a Toyota!)
79 Corolla
79 Corolla Hatchback
74 FJ40 Landcruiser
83 Long Bed 4x4 (standard cab)
85 4-Runner (last of the straight axles)
89 FJ62 Landcruiser (currently and for sale).
My son also has an 82 4x4 Toyota P/u.
Also own an 87 vette and recently sold a 2000 Z28 Camaro
