New guy

Hey, people, I'm really new to the whole " car " thing but I've been really interested in them in the past month after I saw this beautiful 360 Modena GT Ferrari on the street... So from there on I started to love cars! I own a Dodge Charger 2006 V6 <-- I know ... Anyways nice to meet you people!

Welcome... but if you don't mind me asking - How did you come to the decision to join a Toyota forum when your car is a Dodge? Was there alcohol involved?

Its simple... All my life I wanted a Toyota car but I heard they weren't very good cars so I ended up buying a Dodge Charger ( Due to alot of friends telling me its better ) so I wanted to find out as much about toyota as I can because I want my next car to be a toyota so I dont wanna make a mistake or listen to my friends this time I wanna make the right choice on car.

Toyota builds some of the most dependable and durable cars on the planet.
I have a '95 tacoma 4x4 with 282,000 miles on it. And so far, with the exception of regular maintainance, I've only had to replace my starter at 201,000 miles. And as of today, it still runs almost like new.
I've also owned a '92 MR2 N/A which I traded in for the Tacoma @145,000 miles and the only repair was the fuel pump at 125,000 miles. And I drove the crap out of it. I also presently have a '95 MR2 Turbo and 2001 MR2 Spyder. The Spyder has 65k on it and I haven't had ANY problems out of it.
I love Toyotas

I have several friends who own Dodges and they have been very good, dependable cars. The guys with 4x4's put thier trucks thru hell and they're still goin' strong. And you gotta love Mopar performance!!!

I have never heard a statement that Toyota's were not good cars. Too weird...
