I am looking to buy a Tacoma, but need some advice. When I am using it to commute, I'd like to get decent mileage, although I usually ride a motorcycle most places.
For weekend trips and vacations, I plan to put a fold-down camper (light weight) on it and haul a small, 6 x 12 enclosed trailer with it, mostly for going to motorcycle race tracks. I am currently unemployed, but hopefully will find something fairly soon. In other words, I don't have much money right now. I know I'll have to get a V6, but have at least two major questions:
1. Someone told me that there were some years that had 8 foot beds. If so, what years?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages to the Pre Runner?
Any other advice on used , such as which years were better than others, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
