Canada 1jz Soarer from Canada

Sup TN.

I had a question I posted in the supra section, thought I might as well take time to introduce myself and my ride.

I'm a 23 year old diesel and industrial mechanic, and i own a 1991 JDM Toyota Soarer.

The car was imported in late 2006 and was one of the first JDM soarers in Canada.

As you can see, the car is used for drifting. Kind of heavy, but it does the job with its 300 whp.

Hope you enjoy!

Cool! Is it stock? Or do they come turbocharged?

The engine is a 1jz-gte, the 2jz's little brother. It's 2.5 liters instead of 3, and comes with two CT12a turbochargers.
The tranny is an R154, the same that's found on the 7m-gte.
It's not that stock....it has a piggyback ECU and a boost controller, the intercooler is aftermarket also as you may have figured :P

The car outputs around 280hp at the crank in the stock form, at around 8-9 psi...i'm pushing 14.
