Talking Hey Everyone! Just bought 2003 Corolla S

Hi..my name is Brian and I just purchased a 2003 Corolla S from my dad. The car is a silver 5 speed and I'm really impressed with it. It has 37,000 miles on it and feels brand new. My dad garaged it since it was new and drives a mile or so to work so it's hardly used. He was wanting to trade it in and offered to sell it to me for $6000. I jumped on the deal. I most recently drove a 2000 Honda Accord EX 5spd. It was an ok car. It had 85,000 miles on it and I was falling out of love with it since it rolled off the Honda lot. I'm really surprised how nice this Corolla is. The fit and finish and drive really are nice! The only thing wrong with the car is the center console compartment door is broke off it's hinge and looks awful. Is this something I can fix myself? I'm sure a dealer would charge and arm and a leg to fix it. Could i just take the door off and leave the compartment exposed? Would that look terrible? Any advice on that issue or any suggestions on keeping my Corolla in tip top shape etc would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

Brian

Welcome Brain, good luck with the compartment door, seems like it is something you can buy and fix yourself if you are a DIY type of guy.
