Toyota Fan new to Forums
Hi new member here...
Long time toyota fan and frequent visitor of the forums, just signed up today, its a great site.
I have a question regarding my 02 highlander though. It's been a frequent problem, even seasonal. I would get in and when i try to start it, it would just click, it's been going on for a year or so, again rare, but when it happens it happens everyday. I manage to get it going by accelerating (i can accelerate and the car seems to be on) when im turning the key and even then its a hit and miss thing. And when i let the pedal go the RPM goes down to 0 and the thing would be back to idle, engine off and everything, but at times it stays on.
It's about time I take care of my problem and I need to know the problem first, anyone experience the same problem or have any idea what's going on? Before I take it to a mechanic I always try to see if it's something that I can do.
Perhaps this is better suited for the Highlander forum? BTW my car is a 02 Highlander LTD 4WD. Any help is appreciated.
