Love my Solara
My 2001 Solara is my 4th and best Toyota yet.
This car has a V-6 and a 5 speed manual. Love the body style and wish the next generation looked as good as this car does. Also, wish Toyota still offered a manual transmission with the V-6.
Car has been virtually trouble free. Had noisy rear brakes when new and needed a few adjustments. Change oil every 3 - 4 thousand miles and have replaced front brakes. Have changed coolant twice and recently changed power steering and manual transmission fluids. At 83,000 miles cleaned the fuel injectors and changed spark plugs and fuel filter. I'm learning to do as much maintanence on this car as I can. Am planning on changing the timing belt at 90000 myself
