Hey everyone

Hey guys, Im new here. My past ride was a 98 Accord V6 that I put alot of time and money into mods and is now my brothers, and I will miss that car. Main reason I wanted a different car is beause I wanted something standard.

Anyways its an 09 Matrix XR with the "B" package. All I have done so far is %35 front, %5(limo) tint rear, and I debadged the rear hatch (took off the "TOYOTA", "MATRIX", and "XR") and I have a system ready to put in, all I need is door speakers but I dont know the size yet.

Im looking forward to browsing this site, and I hope it is as useful as V6performance.net and 6thgenaccord.com.

Does anyone know if TRD parts are available in Canada? I heard there is a short shifter available and hopefully an intake. Mods will be slow though, I am going through college right now and I am only 18.

Thanks in advance everyone for the help.

Yep. You should be able to get most if not all TRD parts thru your local dealer. ...if not, try ebay.

Welcome to TN!

Thanks. I went to the local dealer Monday, and he said they dont get much TRD stuff
He told me they might get the exhaust, which would be a bonus, but I was hoping for the short shifter aswell. I guess eBay is my only option. On the plus side there is an intake available now

They should be able to order anything if they are a TRD dealer. I've given US dealerships JDM part numbers and not told them what they are for. All they say is "Our computer says we'll have to order it from Japan so we'll call you when it's in." TRD is a separate company tho so it might be necessary to go to an official TRD dealership. Try another dealership if they aren't.

...either way, most of the TRD stuff is rebadged brand name stuff with a higher price tag. Most TRD parts manufactured by Vortech, Progress, TYC, Eibach, K&N, Razo, Molly Designs, etc...
Search around before you buy, there are a ton of other brands available for your car.

Oh I didnt know there were seprate dealers for TRD. Im still learnin about Toyota haha. So I guess its a weiting game until things become more available. I thought TRD was manufactured just by Toyota aswell. Cant wait for funds to come so I can start modding this one.

Its handled as a separate company from TMC. The nice thing about their parts vs other brands is most of them don't alter your warranty. Thats why I went with the TRD SC over any other brand of forced induction. ...and I've already had issues. Other things like intakes, exhaust and such don't matter so much.
