Frustrated Tacoma Owner Seeks Help!
Lake Tahoe averages about 10 feet (yes, feet!) of snow a year. You really have to know how to drive on snow and ice to avoid an accident. I bought my 1999 4wd xtra cab Tacoma new and have since never had a problem driving in bad weather.
A few years ago I moved to a lower elevation, where snow and ice are only an occasional issue. Recently, I put 31x10.50R15 Kumho Road Venture tires on it, and have had a bumpy ride ever since.
I thought the dealer may have overinflated the tires, so checked the recommendation on the door. It only references the P225/75R15 sized tires, even though my 31x10.50R15 are original equipment.
So, the question is: what is the correct tire pressure to give me the best handling? Any help will be appreciated!
