6 years (and counting) Subaru Owner, looking at a tow vehicle

Hi, I'm from Quebec and, as the title states, I drive a Subaru. An '07 Outback. This my 2nd Outback since 2003 and I REALLY love the car. This year, my wife and I started to do camping with a pop-up. I wanted a 21ft travel trailer, but the car cannot handle this weight. It i rated at 2700# with the 2.5L H4 engine (175HP, 170# torque). As of now, we're pretty happy woth the setup. The engine's power is sufficient enough and fuel economy is not too bad.
This car is leased, and I'm already shopping around for the new vehicle (in 2 years!). Looking to the new Highlander with his 5000# tow rating, I'd be able to upgrade the pop-up, to a travel trailer. Being a Subaru fan, I'm also looking at the Tribeca, which is about the same size / power. It is tow rated at 3500# though... So I'll be reading you guys to learn about pros and cons about the HL and I'll maby be joining you guys for real in 2 years!

Hi, 1 year after joining TN we bought our Highlander (2009 Sport Blizzard white). Got it 2 days ago and so far, we are very happy. Tow hitch, wiring harness and break controller ordered at etrailer.com and should be there by friday. Can't wait to install all these goodies! pop-up is for sale and we'll get a travel trailer next spring.

Will put Yokohama Geolandar winter tires (245/65 R17) on it.








I added a tint strip at the top of the windshield already.
