Canada Newbie from Ontario, Canada

Just wanted to say hi to all the ToyotaNation members and express how pleased i am with the vast amount of knowledge available here. I don't own a Toyota yet (currently driving a 02 Grand Prix GTP) but can't wait to trade the car in and get what i always wanted....

A Toyota Tacoma!

All in due time though, till then, i can't wait to start learning curve and of course daydream about all of YOUR rides....

I hear ya! Tacomas are awsome trucks. I have a '95 Tacoma SX 4x4 and I just rolled 290,452 miles and the only repair so far is a starter @201,000 miles.
Ya gotta lov'em !

Thanks for the welcome Mr.2BAD. Who'd a thought that your only repair would be after 200 000+ miles!! Wow, i've heard about Toyota's quality, but thats just insane! I could never expect that out of a GM car, or any domestic for that matter.

This reason and more is exactly why i'm going with Toyota for my next purchase.

Now if i could only decide whether i should buy new or buy used...

Yeah, I opted for the 2.7ltr engine. My brother in-law is a Toyota tech and he says to this day, he has never had to open one up.
Even with only 150hp and 177ft/lbs of torque, I have no problem hauling 1500lbs(over loaded) of SB2 gravel at 60mph. I love my truck..

Its actually not unheard of in the Toyota world. I had an 85 Camry with over 330,000 mi and the only repair I ever did outside of routine maintenance was to part of the AC system which was covered under a recall when I did it.
