Hello from Phoenix AZ,My name is John and I Love my Toyota 4x4's.I have been a mechanic for 35 + years.
I have a 1985 SR5 22rec Extra Cab solid axle rig,the engine has .40 over pistons,EPN head with over size stainless swirl valves and the 268/425 cam along with new rods and crank breathing Thur a stock air box with a K&N filter,MSD Blaster 2 coil and the MSD 6 A Ignition system,I use a Doug Thorley tri Y header with 2.5 to a flow master and 2.25 tail, it has a W56 5 speed trans with 4.10 gears and limited slip on Cooper STT 31x10.50x15 on 15 x 10 rims and a 4 inch lift.
As with all Toy's the upgrades never end.
