I just bought a 87 Supra with a blown 7mge, and a 7mgte on the side. I am wanting to put the 7mgte in my 84 MKII. I thought the 87 was a turbo car, but it isn't. The ge is out of the car, so I am getting the car with both engines out. I know I need the ECU, IC and plumbing and exhaust components. What about the wiring harnness? The guy tells me he research it all and the ge harness will work fine with the gte.

I doubt that the harness' are the same as the turbo unit will have extra wires/pins to support the turbo . I recommend you visit the Supra section. Those guys can give you hard answers.
