2006 Rav4 Sport 18 Tire options

Anyone replace the 235/55/18 oem tires with 235/60/18 tires?

I want to replace the OEM Bridgestone Duelers that are shot with something that will fill up the wheel well a bit more and should lower my RPM's by about 3% on the highway. I know the spare cover won't fit, but I'll keep one mounted OEM tire as a spare anyway. The outside diamter is 29.3 I've been told. Anyone with experience on this subject. Toyota doesn't recommend, but there seems to be a whole lot of space.

They'll fit. They are not that much taller.Only 5% taller. It will throw your speedo off. It will read slower than you are actually going.
