looking to do the next one in a month or two!! jonesing to lift and change tires, but i'd also really like to increase fule consumption. any advice? i'm aiming at practical function more than aesthetics right now...

whoa. see, that's what happens when i drink on a weeknight. clearly, i didn't say what i meant: i'd like to decrease fuel consumption, or, perhaps i was trying to say increase fuel efficiency. though, now that i think about it, increasing fule consumption does sound appealing.

regardless...what should i be looking for to save some money speant on gas?

I hear ya... well, keep all your tires properly inflated, all your ignition compents fresh, belts tight, avoid jack rabbit starts, and keep the speed down. There is a fuel economy section on this forum that is well worth checking out. Lots of good info there.
