What's up Toyota Nation, just got my first(oddly enough) Toyota and figured I'd hit up TN for some info and ideas.
The car, which was free and will explain the condition, is a 1990 Corolla DX sedan, auto trans. It has the usual 170,000 miles worth of rust, scratches and faded paint, but it starts, stops, and steers. I got it because one of the parts guys at the Toyota dealer I work at was geting rid of it and I needed a more "daily friendly" car(turns out turbo 240's really suck up some premium

). Less than a week after it was registered it needed a radiator. Then a water pump, but while I was in there why not do a timing belt?
So with that out of the way I can finally drive the damn car every day. Still needs a ton of work though(front axles, at LEAST steering rack bellows, bushiings...etc) and the body has seen better days. I am headed to a few salvage yards to see if I can't find a bumper for the back and a few odds and ends for the inside. Wish me luck.
A gratuitous pic of the 90, and a few of the other toys!

Think that's all for now, see you in the 6th gen Corolla forum!
