New to Toyota
Hi All,
I am now in possession of my second Japanese car, a 2004 Corolla LE which was purchased used with about 80k. The first Japanese car I owned was a 1984 Civic Wagovan 4WD 5 speed (one was a creeper only available in 4 wheel mode). That was a great little car. The Toyota is OK, but needs a few minor repairs. A broken console box hinge $40.00 at the dealer, a broken antenna with the base having the antenna ripped out(was it left in at the carwash?)requiring a new base($200.00 at dealer + $45.00 for mast). But what I really need help with is replacing the light for the dashboard clock. I tried to gently pry it from the dash with no success. I searched "toyota 2004 clock light" and found one for an earlier model requiring the entire dash removal for the $2.00 part replacement. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks for listening and hopefully repairs for the Corolla will be easier, cheaper and farther between than my previous ride 1994 E320 wagon.
