New to the Forum and need help already

Hello, I am new to Toyota nation. I have visited the forum many times but now I need to talk to some folks. I own a 2001 Highlander V6, 2wd. I also own an 04 Rav 4.
Right now my Highlander has a bad heater core. I have removed the old one and have priced a new one which is around 300 at my local dealer. The problem is the standard core has the hard inlet and outlet pipes and to install properly I have to totally rip out my console. I need to discuss with someone who knows If there is a simialr core out there that will fit that has inlet ports that I can install fittings in myself and then run hose in and out of the car. I will give the dimensions of the old core to anyone who can help out. Thankss

Your question would be better answered in the Highlander section. Hearter cores can be such a pain.
Good Luck and Welcome to Toyota Nation
