2009 Super White Matrix S-FWD, 5AT
Hello all - Bought my 2009 Matrix S a few weeks ago and just finished installing new speakers (2 pairs Kenwood KFC 1682ie). If anyone needs help/advice on how to remove door panels, send me a note. I swapped the head unit about two weeks ago (Kenwood - DX303). All items purchased from Crutchfield (scratch & dent or outlet-highly recommended).
A few other mods I've made - tinted windows (dealer installed), U-Haul tow hitch, TRD Strut Tower Brace, TRD wheel locks.
The car came with 17" wheels and moonroof as options - yes, I had the cruise control installed too.
Anyone have any suggestions for mods? Is the TRD air filter worth the extra expense over K&N? Do either of them make much difference. I don't see a lot listed for this model year yet, although I've seen a Magnaflow cat-back is available
Previous vehicle was a 1997 RAV4 (purchased new in Jan. 1997).
