new guy
i am new to the site and was looking for some info on a truck im going to look at to buy. it is a 1990 toyota pickup with 213,000 miles and the guy wants 800.00 and willing to deal. it needs a new sending unit and tires. what are some other things i should look for? im mostly gonna use it to haul wood, garbage, and a daily driver during the winter. thanks!

By sending unit do you mean oil pressure or water temperature?
Look for oil leaks. A compression check will reveal much.
