Canada changing to synthetic??

I have an 01 Highlander V6 4x4 with 150,000 kms or 93,000 miles and want to change to synthetic engine oil. Is this ok for such a high mileage switch? and which brand do Toyota motors prefer? thanx

Yes, you'll have no issue, I switched at around 95,000 miles in the Altima, I started to prefer Royal Purple but it became hard to fine. Pennzoil Platinum or Castrol Syntec is good, my grand father owned about there Corola's and always changed his own oil and used Castrol GTX. So maybe Toyota's like Castrol I have no idea.

Best Fluids ???

thanx for the input, but I went with an oil "flush" to rid sludge deposits and then Mobil 1 FULL SYNTHETIC. Toyota ATF type T-IV trans flush and
API GL-5 SAE 90 FULL SYNTHETIC in both front and rear diff's and transfer case.! should run forever now.!!
