Need help with transmission!

I just joined up hoping that someone could point me in the right direction to get some work done on my 01 Tacoma 4x2 reg cab

The transmission has been acting up and I really stuck on what it could be. Whenever I'm in reverse my truck makes a weird grinding noise and on top of that, it makes a clunking noise whenever I shift. Does anyone have any idea what's up with my truck?

Also, I've been checking out service shops and places to get some work done (which I'm sure I need), and was hoping someone could recommend a good place in Los Angeles . Does anyone know if there really any good or can recommend a good place to go. I'm open to anything really. I just want a good place that will get the work done right.
