Australia Long time Corolla owner looking thinking about serious mods for 88 wagon.

G'day everyone,

I've owned two Corollas since getting my license 5 years ago.

My 88 stock 4wd wagon (not TR5) has long since been my favorite place to be and I don't think I could ever sell my friendly little mate.

Unfortunately for him (my wagon is a boy named Bones), I've recently fallen in love with the business end of Skyline GTRs (r32,3 and 4) and I was considering a 32.

But they're a hell of a lot of these around the city I live in (canberra), and so I'm thinking instead, I could look into putting a GTR engine, transmission etc into my 88 wagon.

I can't help but smile when I think of a Corolla wagon killing yet another commodore/falcon, but I'm not sure If this is economically feasible or even possible.

Would any of you guys be able to give me a little advice on how I should go about this or, possibly some other engines that would work in this situation?

Cheers,
Mitch.

I've since given up on the gtr idea, it's pretty much impossible.

I have however been looking into gt4 celica engines.

Though I couldn't find them on the engine conversion post,I was wondering if anyone would be able to advise me on this?

Cheers Mitch.
