Another mouse pointer from Ontario
Hi all,
Not my first visit to the forum but registered first time yesterday.
Another first for me is a 2004 Matrix XR sitting in the driveway.
Got a good deal on this when it came off lease ((from someone else). Low mileage too for an '04, 65k kms (40k miles).
I decided to buy a vehicle that is just about bullet proof. After driving big vehicles I find this one somewhat of a hard ride, but that's to be expected what with low profile tires and light weight, plus.....
Still fun to drive too, even if it IS an automatic.
I got a surprise the day I picked it up from the dealer (I couldn't find what I wanted privately).
The salesman gave me the keys and told me to call if anything was wrong. I told HIM that I wasn't going anywhere until I went over it with a fine toothed comb first.
There had been some things that had to be replaced/repaired to do a safety on it but what I didn't expect were 4 brand new Michelin Harmonys on it.
The originals had more than 1/2 thread left.
That has NEVER happened to me with ANY of the GMs I bought over the years.
Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the service.
The best part is, the wife loves it. Whew!.
