VSV hose was left off after oil change-

A little history...05/07 @ 83,000 mi, I had an oil change & shortly after the "check engine" light came on. I took it to Toyota & they said the VSV hose was off & they went ahead and reattached it, cleared codes P0440 P0441 & P0446. Now, I had another oil change on my 2002 Highlander at 102.000 mi, again, 200 miles later the "Check Engine" light came on. Reminicent of the prior incident we looked under the hood & found a hose loose behind the air filter casing on the driver side. I KNOW THE RECENT MECHANIC CHECKED THE AIR FILTER & MUST HAVE KNOCKED THE HOSE w/CLIP OFF. My husband squeezed his hand down & reattached it. The light is still on while engine idling in park. Do you suspect this MEANS THAT THOSE CODES NEED TO BE CLEARED AGAIN to make the light go out. And if so what is the most economic way to do it.

Hey,
Disconnect the battery, then remove the ECU fuse for a minute, then reinstall fuse, reconnect battery. CEL should go off. This works with most cars.
Welcome to TN
