Just saying hello to other members

Hello everyone, I just got my dad's 1999 Toyota Avalon XLS on Saturday, it has about 117,000 miles and runs like new. It has a couple of mods that I put on it earlier: dark tint, bulldog remote starter, xenon headlights, k&n performance air filter(noticeable improvement in throttle response and horsepower), Pioneer headunit with stock sound system. Recent Maintenance: New KYB Struts in the front, that's about it. We bought is used back in 2004 with 50,000 miles from an old couple who didn't drive it that much. Since then we haven't needed to replace anything major except for the oxygen sensor and struts. Pretty nice car overall and comfortable, quiet but great performance.

Yeah, bc he knows that I it is something I like to do, pretty soon I will getting a 1987 Buick Grand National, I will barely drive it, the only reason is bc when I graduate from college there car will be really hard to find and a lot of $$$.

Welcome to the forums! I've got a 2002 Avalon XL and I love it. I have to admit, though, that my 2008 Highlander is even more enjoyable and I use it more nowadays. When you've got pics, post them to the Avalon picture sticky so we can check it out.

Yea the newer the better, recently my dad was going to buy the 09 Avalon Touring Edition or Camry XLE, but one of older cars did not qualify for the cash for clunkers rebate
