New w/ an AE86 SR-5

Hey all, I'm Joseph from East Texas. Just bought myself a new project car, an '87 Toyota Corolla SR-5 AE86 with 256k on the original stock 4A-C. Pretty well taken car of, minus the ant and spider infestation, and minor rust. It's got freezing aircon (which I'm proud of :P ), a 4-runner's headunit (soon to be replaced), a GT-S' driver-side front fender and door (that doesn't align with the SR-5's body), moderately clean interior with only two cracks in the dash (giggity), and a completely dry power steering tank... Oh! Can't forget about the truck tires...
The car came with 3 different TYPES of tires on it...

For $750 it was a pretty good deal, if I may say so myself.

Und jetzt beginnt die Fotogalerie!

And finally... the 4A-C

Exactly what I was thinking! :P

Some vacuuming, sanding, repriming, then repainting should turn it in to something the average joe might want to even glance at it

the pictures don't actually justify the car's condition. It truly is in pretty damn condition for an 87

Thanks a lot everyone.

Tercel GTS, very nice. My brother has an APEX GT-S. I'm actually thinking about taking someone up on an offer on this one and then buying a GT-S if I ever come around to finding one for a low price. I'm never someone who has a lot of money on their hands at any given time, so my ability to buy a $4k AE86 GT-S is quite limited. Hopefully I'll come across one in the future. But hell, I might not even sell this one just yet. I'm still giving it some thought. I'd love to keep it, but its a good offer, esp for an SR-5 and I could use the money to fix up my Accord (like I was originally going to use the money I bought this car for :P )

Raffaelli, Haha, yeah there aren't very many of us out there are there? I'm back and forth between Tyler and Lewisville. Kinda living in both places atm.

dcelica, You can't do it with anything else... it wouldn't be right to drift with out an AE86
Two of my older siblings are drift racers. My oldest sister was sponsored for a while but then she got married and then had a kid, lol. And then theres my brother... he never really was any good at it. Hahaha
