American in Sweden - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Hi Guys,

I'm a 36 year old American living in Sweden.

When I was a kid, growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, there weren't many trucks and they were looked down upon as something only hillbillies drove. Then around the 6th grade we moved to Texas where everyone had a truck. I still had my yankee attitude about trucks until one night, when I was 18, I saw a cherry red Toyota 4X4 sparkling in the moonlight. It was love at first sight.

Unfortunately, I could only afford a Mazda B2200 back then (it was a great, reliable pickup though). But Finally, 18 years later, I got a Toyota pickup and my life is complete.

Congratulations on joining the Toyota family, and also for finding and joining Toyota nation! I own two myself, and after many experiences over the years with other manufacturers I'm happy to stay with Toyota.
