new member in TN

Hello all! my wife just wrecked OUR 00 Camry well she did'nt the guy hit her head on did.I'm a native of east tn and run my own bus businsess and mobile welding buisness I'm needing some direction on Camry or Highlanders which models to stay away from and are the 6cyl any better than the 4cyl?

Welcome to the nation! Sorry to hear about the accident, but at least it sounds like your wife came out okay.

As for the Highlander, I'm a 2008 owner and have had mine for 18 months. IMO, it's the most enjoyable vehicle I've ever owned, and I own a Base model at that without all the bells and whistles. The only issue of significance with the Highlander (and this varies among owners) is that it can be prone to interior rattles and noises. Toyota says this issue is being addressed, so one would hope the 2010s will be quieter. Other than that, it's an outstanding vehicle with phenomenal mileage: 19/20 city and 27/28 highway for me, and that's a non-hybrid V6.

thanks TD the wife is ok the car is not it toast.this is the second head on she has been in (one in nov89 and now in oct 09).SHE WANTS TO STAY IN A Toyota product but after 2 head on accidents i would really like to have her in something a little bigger than a car.The car's crumple zones did a good job but other thigs could've happened.
