Another new guy, 05 corolla s (5sp)
hey i signed up because i want to do a few upgrades to the corolla since it will probably be in my stable for a bit of time.
exterior upgrades: new grill, blacked out headlights, blacked out tailights, tints, black out the oem wheels, maybe new wheels who knows
interior upgrades: new head unit and perhaps speakers and a subwoofer again.
performance upgrades: some sort of slight lowering, more interested in stiffer springs. strut bar, sway bars front and rear. intake, headers, catback exhaust.
My main questions is what is the potential gain in horsepower might be form the intake, header, catback system. I am more interested in the exhaust note and the mpg. I don't want to sound like a 16 yr old going down the block with a coffee can on the back, just something better than what I have now.
maybe a brake upgrade down the road.
