Japan new to TN

My name is shelby. I live muskogee,ok and i have a 95 4runner 3.0. i bought it for $3000 about 2 years ago and its been a rough journey. I destroyed the original engine by hitting a stump in my buddies mud pit. i put 5 salvage yard engines in and none worked so i bought a reman and new injectors and a few other things and it only lasted 248 miles before all the valves on the left side bent due to the dal pin breaking off the cam. Ordered another and i am having an issue with it running smooth after it warms up and wont restart after sitting for 10 to 30 minutes. i have replaced the cold start injector, fuel pump, filter, ect sensor, and TPS. i broke the cold start injector time switch so a friend gave me one that was used and thats the only thing that got replaced from the last swap. Couod that be my problem? Glad to join TN. thanks

Wow, sounds like some hard luck there, Shelby, with those engines. I'd have thought at least one of them would have been good, but I guess that's the way it goes sometimes. I think you'll like it here on TN. Welcome to the forums!

to the forums.

Sounds like you've had a fair bit of bad luck with your car so far, hopefully your luck will turn around and everything will start going your way.

Fingers crossed that someone is able to help you in the 4Runner forum so you can get it back in action once and for good.

All the best
