New guy 88 alltrac camry

Hi all
I just got a 88 Camry alltrac 5 speed with 220k miles
runs farly decent, but the hood got bent from hitting a
trailer hitch. I paid $650 for it. Not much Rust, its been
in new mexico most its life.
I have a lot of searching to do, before i decide what to do to it.
but suggestion are appreciated

Side Note, I have always driven Ford Festivas, on with a mazda B6
turbo engine.
But I have always wanted a AllTrac and the four doors works better
since i have 2 kids.

Welcome to ToyotaNation.

Yeah the Camry would be a lot more practical since you have kids. I've been in a few situations where I could have used the 4WD capability that the AllTracs have. Sounds like you got it nice and cheap.

Feel free to post some photos in the Show & Share forum sometime. There's plenty of help available in the Camry forum too, if you should ever need it.

Ives! How ya doing? She's now running like a champ and I nearly have all the bugs worked out... No more surging idle and she's doing 24mpg, thanks for having her for sale right when I could afford one.
